Deck Drainage
& Dry-Below.

Proper deck drainage solves two problems at once: it keeps the deck surface itself from holding standing water, and it ensures rainwater that passes through the boards is captured and directed away instead of pooling under the deck or draining against your foundation. Our dry-below system takes it a step further, turning the space underneath into a completely dry, finished room.

Drainage Problems We Solve

Standing water on deck surface

Deck boards need proper spacing and slope. We assess your deck's pitch and drainage and recommend corrections that prevent pooling after rain.

Muddy, unusable under-deck area

An underdeck ceiling system captures all water passing through the deck boards and channels it to a gutter, leaving the area below completely dry.

Water draining against the foundation

Poorly directed deck drainage ends up against the foundation. We route all downspouts away using French drains, dry wells, or yard drainage.

Rot in deck framing from trapped moisture

Moisture that sits in deck framing causes rot over time. Proper drainage and ventilation extends deck life significantly.

Complete Drainage Solutions

We assess the full drainage picture, covering the deck surface, the underdeck system, downspout routing and yard drainage, then give you one solution rather than fixing a piece while ignoring the others. Georgia's heavy rain events demand a system that handles volume, not just light rain.

How Our Dry-Below System Works

For raised and second-story decks, the dry-below system is the part that captures every drop. Interlocking panels sit in an aluminum framework beneath the deck joists, pitched toward a collection channel that runs to a perimeter gutter. That gutter ties into a downspout that routes water away from your foundation, which closes the drainage loop.

The finished underside looks like a real ceiling, with clean painted panels in white or beadboard style, with no visible hardware or water management. The result is a dry, attractive outdoor room you can use in any weather, even during Georgia's heaviest summer storms.
